Module 3- Issues on Human Development

From my personal development, I have sensitive enough to understand things, to know the good and bad doings, making decisions and I am completely aware of everything. I develop my potential skills and also I totally enhance the quality of my life to be better and follow the good path. In addition that I confident enough to face the crowd eliminates negative that can affect myself and I make my dreams more possible to achieve. From this development, I can say that I am a product of heredity and environment. It because of some of the traits that I have now was imported/adoption from my parent, and from the environment, it is based on my experiences that affect my personality. I adopt what I see from people and the environment around me especially the right doings.

Additional, from this module it also determines the Issues on human development and this, is nature versus nurture, continuity versus discontinuity and stability versus change. Nature means our genetics was to determine our behavior personality, traits, and abilities in nature. It is from genes and hereditary factors. From the word nature, it can be inherited or namamana. While nurture means the involvement of the environment in the process of learning through experience. It consists of environmental factors. Next continuity means that development is a continuous process and gradual, like for example height and weight it changing all over time. While discontinuity means that development occurs in a series of distinct stages or changes. It means that each of us was characterized by at least one task that must accomplish before going to the next process or next stage. Lastly,  stability means it implies the personality present during infancy and endures throughout the life span. While change means personalities are defined by interactions with family, experiences, and culture.

In conclusion, both genes and the environment are necessary for a person to exist. Without genes, there is no person, without the environment there is no person by scarr and Weinberg. It means that without those factors we cannot develop ourselves totally, and maybe we are not able to speak, live in this world and we are not able to have family and friends.
